Finally, after 3 tries with another store I have some barbells small enough. I've just got them in my ears so the larger ones can get annoying banging against each other. These are small and light, and subtle enough to wear to work, unlike my 1/2in rings which attracted some odd stares from management.
I've yet to lose any balls from them, thankfully. They also came in a sealed bag and I've had no reaction to them since putting them in 2 weeks ago.
